So it’s official, I am now old. 🙁 No, not really, but it sure felt that way today at the gym! We celebrated my 30th birthday over the weekend with a vintage Hollywood birthday party! Here are some pictures of the food, decor and festivities!
For my vintage Hollywood party I made a bunch of hor d’ourves! There was the best tahini dip ever, stuffed mushrooms, baked brie, spicy buffalo meatballs and chocolate filled strawberries! It was all served on beautiful trays that I scored from the dollar store (i love that place)!
The table decor was comprised of fancy wrapped silverware i saved from our wedding (just goes to show my
hoarding saving things really does pay off), tall and short glass vases filled with either floating candles or flowers (also from our wedding) and of course the best trophies ever (tutorial coming soon)! I hung the paper punch strands in the window for a little added flair.
I rocked this long slinky black dress that I scored at Buffalo Exchange on my trip to Portland a few weeks ago. I curled my hair and swept it off to the side with this beautiful Peacock Hair Clip! I wore my gold strappy sandals and an over sized blingy ring that I picked up at Goodwill. Joseph found this AMAZING bomber jacket at the thrift store the morning of the party (nothing like waiting until the last minute) and it totally made the otherwise plain outfit really come together!
All my best girls!! All in all 30 doesn’t seem so bad after all 🙂
