Happy Friday Friends! This week around my house has been insane! We had a CRAZY wind storm on Tuesday and were without power for about 10 hours total. And we were the lucky ones! My dad/sister/brother have all been without power since Tuesday at their houses. We had about 165,000 without power and are down to around 120,000 at last estimate. Many down power lines, trees and sadly, lives lost. School and work closed and a lot of sitting around and hanging out! Ya, It has been insane. So ... Read the Post

Easy Breakfast Quiche with Salsa
This shop has been compensated by Safeway. All opinions are mine alone. #StockUpOnPace #CollectiveBias #Safeway Hi my name is Ashley and I'm a salsa-holic. (This is the part where you say - Hi Ashley.) I'm here to confess that I love salsa a lot, like I put it on most meals a lot. Eggs, salad, bagels, nothing is safe from salsa in my house. So of course I always stock up when I'm grocery shopping. I mean what's the point in having a walk in pantry if I don't fill it with my favorite ... Read the Post
Frito Chili
It's almost Fall, Ya'll! I don't really say Y'all. I'm from Eastern Washington. But sometimes it's fun to say, right? But really, it's almost Fall. And I won't lie. I love Fall, but I love Summer more. I love the heat and going swimming and tanning on my back porch. But this Summer was sooo hot and dry because last year we got hardly any snow. And what that means for us, wildfires. They have been terrible this year and one reason I am looking forward to Fall is to give our poor ... Read the Post
Crockpot Chicken Quesadillas
Hi everyone. I have a great {relatively} quick and easy Summer time dinner for you. If you are like me you don't want to use your oven from about June until October, and while sometimes it just cant be avoided, sometimes you can make some pretty awesome dinners by just using your crockpot. I use mine a lot and will try to turn most anything into a "crockpot meal". Because it has been so hot in the Pacific North West, I've been using my crockpot even more! And these Crockpot Chicken ... This may sound like the craziest combination of flavors and ideas in the history of time, but I promise the minute you take that first bite you will be in heaven. The warm and chewy naan, coupled with the smooth and creamy hummus, the sweet sauciness of the pork and the salty nip from the feta cheese, make this a simple yet jaw droppingly good meal. Korean BBQ Naan Pizza 1 package of pork for carnitas 1 flavor packet 2 pieces of naan onion slices spinach hummus feta ... Read the Post

With only a few ingredients this dish is so packed with flavor and goodness and will leave you feeling satisfied all ... Read the Post

Crock Pot Clam Chowder – Yum!
I love warm and hearty soups in the fall and winter and now that my dear hubby is working in a seafood processing warehouse we get A LOT of fresh from the ocean seafood! I have had a couple of vacuum packed bags of fresh razor clams in my fridge since Friday and I wasn't sure what we were going to do with them. Usually we just saute them and eat them plain, but I wanted to get creative with this batch! I found this really easy looking recipe for clam chowder and thought I would give it a go! ...
