So I shared with your the first phase in my hubby's man cave/jam room makeover last month and I'm here to share with you the second part. This part was so much much fun and makes such a cool statement as soon as you walk in! It took a little convincing to get my hubby on board, but once we got started he was all in. First off here is a before and a before, before picture of the space. The first thing I did was have my hubby make a list of all his favorite bands and artists. I then searched ... Read the Post

Easy $1 Printable Pencil Valentines
So I might be a little late to the Valentine's party (it's only January people!), but this project will take you less time than an episode of Dexter. By the way, it's totally my husband and my favorite show right now (thanks Netflix) and we have blazed through 6 seasons in a month! Don't ruin it for me if you know how it ends though!! Okay, back to Valentine's Day. I touched on my annoyance with over the top holiday exchanges back around Halloween, but in case you missed it and you don't ... Read the Post

Awesome Things Tuesday – 8
Here we are with our first official link party of the year. I had a really hard time picking this week because there were a bunch of yummy foods and some really cool crafts to choose from. I was ultimately swayed by the creamy cajun shrimp dip that Leslie from Lambert's Lately shared. It is a quick and easy dip (my favorite kind) and it was not the usual! I like things that are fun and different - and delicious! I can't wait to make this one! 1. Jessica's Pick: Maple Pecan Muffins by ... Read the Post
Chicken Enchilada Pasta
This was no joke one of the yummiest diners I've made in a long time. That may be because I took the last couple of months off from making good dinners due to exhaustion and being in a pre-holiday funk. The new year has arrived though and I am reinvigorated! I set a goal to make 52 new recipes this year and this is the first of many! The best part of this meal is that it was only 40 minutes from start to finish. This would be a great dish to take to a potluck or any gathering. Chicken Enchilada ... Read the Post

Stenciled Focal Wall in the Master Bedroom
I was recently given the opportunity to work with Royal Design Studio and review one of their stencils. I was absolutely giddy about this as I have been stalking frequenting their website dreaming of all the wonderful things I could do with their stencils. When it came time to actually pick one I was faced with a dilemma, I knew that I was going to be painting the focal wall behind our bed in our master bedroom, which meant that I was going to need my hubby's approval input approval. 2014 New Years Goals Photo Display
Every year I set myself a few goals, just a few things I want to work on throughout the year. Last year I wrote them out and made a pretty graphic, but didn't do anything with it. I shared it with the 5 people who actually read my blog last January and that was that. Honestly before I started writing this post I couldn't even remember what my goals were. Needless to say I sucked at my goals...didn't reach them. This is in total contrast to my 2012 goals. I met every single one of them ... Read the Post
