Celebrating Summer with a Girl Scout Cookie Sundae Bar
This shop has been compensated by #CollectiveBias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. My kids are all officially on summer vacation now and that means that bedtimes are later, rules are looser and there is more fun to be had. Like everyone else in America (and around the world) we love Girl Scout cookies and when I heard that they were going to be pairing up with Nestle Crunch to create new #Cookies2Crunch I knew that I had something special to help celebrate our new ... I promise it's worth the trip ;) If you have ever traveled in a car with kids you know that almost as soon as you pull out of the driveway the trouble begins. Easy Patio Furniture Makeover
This is a sponsored post, I received product and/or compensation for this post. All opinions are 100% mine. Some of you might remember that last summer we bought a new (to us) patio set off of what I lovingly refer to as the "fake craigslist". What I didn't realize at that time was that patio chair cushions are expensive and since our set didn't come with any it took me a while to get all six purchased. Well last week the last two finally came and I've been working like a mad woman to get ... Read the Post

Tropical Lava Flow Hawaiian Cream Soda
I've told you all before that I lived in Hawaii for a couple of years while I went to college there. It was an amazing experience! I grew up in a super small town of only about 400 in Eastern Washington. We had super hot summers and super cold winters and by the time I was "all grown up" I was ready for a change. I moved there without ever visiting, knowing no one and with everything I owned packed in my suitcases. It was incredible! I spent my first year living in the dorms and going to school, ... 8 Ideas to Help You Get Gardening
I know that for some of you who live in nice warm climates gardens are already in full swing, but up here in the PNW the weather hasn't made up it's mind about spring/summer or winter/spring so I am still haven't planted anything. Combine that with my ever blackening thumb and I'm just a hot gardening mess over here. Luckily I rounded up some of the best tricks and tips I could find to help you gather the courage to get out there and plant something! How to Kill Weeds Naturally from First ... Read the Post
How to Create a Quick Craft Kit for Kids
During the Summer down in the south there are afternoon showers, some days theses showers last all afternoon and sometimes they are just from about lunch till 3 o'clock, the heat of the day. I find that after about the 3rd day of these showers the kids are bored out of their mind and starting to get mischievous. I have a craft container that I put all the "quick craft" supplies in. During these rainy afternoons when the kids start getting a little wild, I like to pull it out and let their ... Read the Post

Warning: This post is aimed at people (aka bloggers) interested in strategies for growing their Pinterest following. However, some of the information is just plain old good advice for everyone, so don't leave! As some of you might remember I attended SNAP back in April. It was such an incredible learning experience and if you are interested in hearing more about it I wrapped up my overall experience here. One of the classes I took focused specifically on Pinterest. Quick and Easy Cranberry Orange Energy Bites
One of my favorite snacks to make for my kids has become these no bake energy balls. I started off making them for my daughters preschool class so they are all peanut butter and honey free, which really made me think outside the box for sticky stuff. The dates in there add some much needed binding and they are a great source of fiber, which never hurt anyone! They take less than 10 minutes to make and there are so many different flavor combinations out there that I'm pretty sure I could make ... Read the Post
