Loaded Baked Potato Bites
If you are anything like me you are always struggling to find the most perfect side dish. I find myself always falling back on the same few things and that can get pretty old. I am a sucker for almost any "bar food", however they aren't usually very healthy or what you think of when you are thinking about easy sides. This recipe though is super easy and really delicious! The first thing you'll need to do is bake off some potatoes. I like to use the small red potatoes because they are ... Read the Post

Showing our #DisneySide With A Princess Party
Last weekend was my middle daughter's 4th birthday. She is such a Disney Princess fan that it was a no brainer that we were going to be having a princess party. I shared the fun invitations I made here, and those were just the start! Unlike my other little's birthdays this year I opted to skip the cupcake baking and instead picked up a dozen Starbucks birthday cake pops for her "cake" and a giant chocolate cupcake for my daughter. Her cupcake was topped with some fun Disney Princess rings for ... Read the Post
St. Patricks Day Magnets
So for those of you who don't know I also have an Etsy shop. I've gone through the years changing out what I sell based on what my interests are (maybe not the best business plan, but it's more for fun) and one of the items I used to carry were fun bottle cap magnets. I still had a few St. Patrick's Day ones in my stockpile and so I thought I would show you how easy it is to make your own set of fun holiday magnets! First things first you are going to need nine bottle caps, now you can go buy ... Read the Post
Awesome Things Tuesday – 15
It has been the LONGEST week ever and I am still reeling from all the birthday party madness of the weekend. I am hoping to be able to share a little bit of our awesome party with you this week, but we'll see. On a happier note, I just got a new (used) computer from my awesome sister in law and so I should be able to get back on track. Unfortuantely this means I am trying to restore all my files and photos from "the cloud" which apparently ate the last 6 months of work, so like I said...LONG ... Read the Post
Chipotle Chicken Chopped Salad
So in an effort to eat a little bit healthier (but still eat delicious foods) I have been slowly switching from traditional cheddar's, jacks and mozzarella cheeses which are high in fat to low fat options like feta and goat cheese. The best part about this is that I think that these alternative cheeses taste as good if not better than the standards and I am happy to use them instead! I am also a huge fan of meals that don't take a culinary degree to successfully execute, and one of my favorite ... Read the Post

DIY Planter from Candle Holder
So last weekend I shared with you that I am trying to add more plants into my house. I am not the best gardener though and my pants usually end up dead. However I'll never get any where if I don't try, so over the weekend I set out to create something that I had been dreaming up for a while. Our local thrift store always has loads of those black metal candle holders that you slip the glass into and then add a candle to. However for the most part they are always missing the glass part to make ... Read the Post
More Wooden Blocks – A Little Secret
So last month I showed you how I made these super cute LOVE blocks to go on my built in shelves to help celebrate Valentine's Day. What I didn't show you was that I also decorated the back side with some green papers and the word LUCK. It was such a stroke of brilliance to do this one project and get two holidays out of it. So this week on Monday, I simply flipped each of the blocks around and BAM instant St. Patty's Day decor! I just love it when things are easier than they seem. For the ... Read the Post

Anyways, here are this weeks features, was it you? Link up your projects below and maybe next week it will be! 1. Ashley's Pick - Our Nest sign by My Creative Days 2. Randi's Pick - Cupid's ... Get Your #MorningEnergy with Honey Bunches of Oats New Flavors
This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Honey Bunches of Oats for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine. So I am not a huge fan of cereal for breakfast, it just doesn't seem as satisfying as something warm and home cooked, but let's be real I don't always have the time or energy to cook a hot breakfast in the morning. When I do eat cereal my most favorite ever is Honey Bunches of Oats with Almonds! Recently Honey Bunches of Oats asked me if I wanted to try two of their new ... Read the Post
